The evaluation is increasingly understood as a fundamental part of quality education, since it generates useful information and lifelong teacher, student, institution and community. In Colombia, the Icfes internal testing has focused on the evaluation skills, implying a significant domain of knowledge, it points to the deep understanding to the construction of inferences and deductions, critical analysis and use of timely and relevant concepts. It is now time to develop skills to interpret, argue, and propose possible worlds, to fill with meaning and context to give meaning to our actions and above all be able to solve new problems.
Based on this approach, designed Icfes KNOW tests (students in grades five and nine of education basic); ICFES (students of eleventh high school) and ECAES (seniors of all careers).
Given the importance of this issue, we offer our users the questionnaires and KNOW ICFES evidence that students were assessed in 2003.
